Too much information to process….

  • by

I don’t know about you but I am inundated with articles, podcasts, videos, social media, and others with things I am truly interested in. I want to read all of them. There are so many good ideas that it is actually overwhelming. Once I finish reading/watching I think, “Oh I should really do that!” Then it goes on a list of things I want to do. Problem is, there are way too many things on my list that it is tough to implement any of them. Or I get caught up in the details – either why I can’t do it or why I should do it – total brain overload!

So, what I started doing was to take one idea that I truly believed would have a positive impact on my business (or in my personal life), figure out what steps I needed to take, and then just begin! Take one step forward and implement it.

I know this isn’t earth shattering advice and really more common sense but how often do we do this to ourselves? We try to tackle too many things and we don’t really get anything done. It is even easier to get caught up in this world of information overload. Sometimes we just need to be reminded that it is okay not to implement everything all at once!

So for all of you overachievers that have a zillion ideas in your head from everything you’ve read, watched, learned; set yourself up for success. Pick just one thing and implement it with the energy and enthusiasm it deserves to be wildly successful.
